NCO Rescue is run by 5 active volunteers and 3 foster homes. Every rescue, every TNR operation, every feeding run for cats is powered by people like you.
Find Your Role
Whether you have a few hours a month or can commit to a regular schedule, there's a meaningful role for you at NCO Rescue.
Flexible — 2 to 8 weeks per cat
Open your home to a cat in need of temporary care. Foster caregivers provide a safe, loving environment for cats recovering from illness, surgery, or trauma — and for kittens who need socialization before adoption. We provide supplies, food, and veterinary care.
Weekend evenings, as available
Help us humanely manage feral cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return. TNR volunteers assist with setting and monitoring traps, transporting cats to and from vet appointments, and returning cats to their outdoor homes.
Daily or alternate days
Help feed community cats in your neighborhood. Feeders provide consistent food and fresh water, watch over the cats' health, and report any cat who needs medical attention.
Weekends, as needed
Help with fundraisers and community outreach. Event helpers set up, answer questions from people interested in adopting a cat, and represent NCO Rescue in the community.
