About Us
About NCO Rescue
NCO Rescue was founded in Orange County by people who believe every cat, feral, stray or surrendered, deserves compassionate care and a path to safety.
Why We Exist
Our Mission
“To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats in Orange County, California through compassionate care, community-driven TNR programs, and lifesaving veterinary support, ensuring no cat is left behind.”
Compassion First
Every decision we make is guided by the well-being of the cats in our care and the communities we serve.
Community-Driven
We believe rescue is a team effort. Our volunteers, fosters, and donors are the heart of everything we do.
Transparency & Trust
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to responsible stewardship of every donation we receive.
Lifesaving Action
We don't wait for perfect conditions. When a cat is in need, we respond — with urgency, skill, and heart.

How It Started
Our Story
NCO isn't a word. It's three names.
Nico and Chloe were rescued together when they were only 15 days old. Tiny babies who needed someone to care for them, protect them, and give them a chance.
About a year later, life brought us Oliver, also rescued at only 15 days old.
N for Nico. C for Chloe. O for Oliver.
In October 2025, what began with three tiny kittens became a registered California nonprofit with one mission: to help every cat in Orange County who is abandoned, vulnerable, or living on the streets.
Since then we've rescued 20 cats, funded 10 spay and neuter surgeries, and placed 10 cats into forever homes. We feed 15 community cats every day. We're small, we're new, and every number on this page is real.
