Anaheim, CA · March 2026

Luna was found injured and alone in a parking lot in Anaheim on a cold February night. A concerned resident called our emergency line, and our team responded within the hour. Luna had a fractured leg and was severely malnourished — she needed immediate veterinary care. Over the next six weeks, Luna received surgery, physical therapy, and round-the-clock foster care. She transformed from a frightened, injured stray into a confident, affectionate cat. In March 2026, Luna was adopted by a family in Irvine who had been waiting for exactly the right cat.

Now thriving in her forever home with two kids who adore her.

Garden Grove, CA · January 2026

Mochi was just three weeks old when a neighbor found him alone in a storm drain in Garden Grove during a rainstorm. Our emergency foster network activated immediately — within two hours, Mochi was in the hands of an experienced bottle-feeder. He required feeding every two hours around the clock for the first two weeks. Our foster volunteer barely slept, but Mochi thrived. By eight weeks he was eating on his own, playing with toys, and charming everyone he met. At twelve weeks, Mochi found his forever home.

Mochi is now a healthy, playful cat living his best life in Costa Mesa.

Santa Ana, CA · February 2026

Shadow was part of a feral colony of 12 cats living behind a restaurant in Santa Ana. The restaurant owner had been feeding them for years but was concerned about the growing population. Our TNR team assessed the colony, set traps over three evenings, and humanely trapped all 12 cats. Each was spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, and ear-tipped before being returned to their outdoor home. Shadow, the colony's dominant male, was the last to be trapped — and the most dramatic. Today, the colony is stable, healthy, and cared for by a dedicated caretaker.

Shadow is a beloved feature of his neighborhood, calmer and healthier than ever.

Fullerton, CA · April 2026

Biscuit and Gravy were surrendered together by an elderly owner who could no longer care for them. The two orange tabbies were inseparable — they ate together, slept together, and groomed each other constantly. We made a commitment: they would only be adopted together. It took three months, but the right family finally came along — a couple in Fullerton with a large home and a lot of love to give. Biscuit and Gravy moved in together and haven't looked back.

Biscuit and Gravy are living their best bonded life in Fullerton.

Orange, CA · May 2026

Pepper came to us with a severe upper respiratory infection and was barely able to breathe. She was found abandoned in an apartment complex in Orange, clearly unwell for weeks. Our vet partners worked quickly — Pepper spent two weeks in medical foster care receiving nebulizer treatments, antibiotics, and supportive care. There were moments we weren't sure she'd make it. But Pepper had other plans. She recovered fully and revealed herself to be one of the most affectionate cats we'd ever fostered.

Pepper was adopted by her foster family — a classic foster fail, and we couldn't be happier.

Riverside area, CA · June 2026

A community member reached out about a colony of 7 cats living near a school in the Riverside area. Parents were concerned, and the school wanted a humane solution. Our TNR team coordinated with the school, set traps over two weekends, and successfully trapped all 7 cats. All were spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear-tipped. Two of the cats — younger and more socialized — were brought into foster care and are now available for adoption. The remaining five were returned to a managed outdoor colony with a dedicated caretaker.

The colony is now stable, and two cats are in foster care awaiting adoption.
